Sub question A: What is the composition of a European family?
We life with our parents, brothers and sisters in one house. Our grandparents life in a retirement home and sometimes they life with us in one house but that's exceptional. Mostly our grandparents life nearby because the Netherlands aren't that big.

Sub question B: Which family matters are discussed with the members of the family?
We discuss things like: how to study, what purchases will be made, what are you going to do in your free time and if this is okay, a big discussion is the destination of our holidays. Our parents want to know what you're doing while you're studying. Our parents (often) control what we're going to buy. And if they don't like it, we don't buy it. We spent our free time with our friends or by our selves of course, but our parents are looking after us. They tell us if they think we're going out with wrong people. The discussion of the destination of our holiday is a heavy one. Everyone wants to go to another place, but we can always make a compromise. so everyone is happy with where we go on vacantion.

Sub question C: What main values are taught by parents?
This really depends on the parents. Most of the time they're trying to teach you somthing what they learned from their parents as well. But as i told, there are a lot of different main values. Such as: Be respectful against others, be kind, be polite, do your best and a lot of other ones.

Jan Hein:
I have one little sister and she is twelve years old. Her name is Anna.
A lot of times we argue, almost every day, but sometimes she is kind and I help her. We play golf and tennis together.
Bart:
I have one older brother called Frank. He is a very nice brother, but sometimes he’s a little grumpy. He is still a helpful guy.
Nevis:
I have two little brothers, they can be very annoying, but they can be kind too.
Daniel:
I have one younger sister and she plays football at the rival club in town.

Sub question E: What kind of relations would you like to have with your siblings?
Most of the time we, our group, likes to have a friendly relationship with our siblings, but that can't always be held the same. For example when they are just annoying and they are teasing you then you can't keep the friendly relation, but most of the time they are just nice to us.

Sub question F: Which qualities of you siblings do you like/dislike?
The one quality we just dislike, or even hate, is the one that our siblings are sometimes the most annoying humans in the world, but qualities we dislike aren't too many. There are way more nice things our siblings do for us, like being funny, helping eachother and playing games together.

Sub question G: What kind of relation do ou parents have with their siblings?
The parents here have a close bond with their sons and daughters. They teach them a lot about making friends, learning the right way and they help us when we don't understand something, but of course parents need to act up when their children are doing something bad. For example when they are fighting with eachother or when they say bad things, but the parents are always nice to them.

Sub question H: Does the government hav eany family-friendly policies?
Parents get money from of the point that they gave birth to a child. Also the mother gets free from work to care for the baby, the father gets around 2 days off. Also you can get free from work to do things with your family. You don't have to pay as much taxes as someone who doesn't have a child. For the rest idk if there's anything more special.

Conclusion
Our family is very important for us. We come toghether on family days where we meet cousins, uncles, aunts etc or when we have a birthday, we always visit the person whos birhtday it is and we play together and we like eachother.
The family discusses things together, so everyone knows who is going to do what. Like we said earlier the things be discuss are often the chores, vacantion destinations and what you should buy.
Our parents (and sometimes grandparents) teach us to have respect and be kind to other people. They also tell us funny stories that make us roll on the floor from laughing.
You can see from these sub questions and the three alineas above that family is very important in the Netherlands. We are wondering how important family actually is in India?
