A. What is your concept of a teacher?
When I think of a teacher, I think of someone who isn't severe and is good at explaining. Someone who is most of the time serious and sometimes makes a joke. When you doesn't understand something in class the teacher will take time for you to explain it twice. It is also someone who can keep and make the class calm when they are really noisy. It is someone who can explain you why you are learning about a subject.
B. What specific qualities of your teachers do you admire/appreciate and why?
The qualities what I think a teacher should have is good explaining, because when a teacher can’t explain things good you don’t get the information you have to learn for the test, and the chance of getting a bad mark is higher. Also, teachers must not be too severe, because the sphere in the lessons is important, when it isn’t good no one pays attention. Only when the teachers doesn’t punish you at all, again no one pays attention. Sometimes a joke during the lesson good, because like I said earlier, for a good sphere.
C. How do you relate to your teachers?
I feel comfortable to my teachers, most of them tells often about their own lives. The teachers mostly are also interested in your live. When I want to ask something I speak him or her with Mr/Mrs and then his/her surname.
D. Suggest ways in which you would stop a bully in your school?
We would stop the bully in a non-violent way. First, we could try to just say things like ‘Stop it!’. If that doesn’t work, we could inform our mentor and let her talk with the bullies. The victim can also speak with the bully himself and ask him why he is bullying him. Perhaps something good comes out of it.
The school can also give information sessions to discourage bullying and let a bully see through the eyes of a victim. There are lots of organisations which go to schools and give such sessions about bullying.
E. Do you have any teacher’s day celebration in your school? Share your experience.
There is a national teacher’s day, but we actually don’t celebrate that in our school. When it’s a teacher’s birthday, everybody congratulates him or her. Sometimes, teachers give us candies or other sweets on their birthday. Teachers probably celebrate it too in the teachers room, but we aren’t allowed to enter unfortunately.
F. What is the opinion of your teachers about the relationship with students?
We asked some teachers in school about how the relation between teacher and student must be. Every teacher said that it has to be respectful and that it hasn't to be severe. One teacher said "you have to make the best of it. You might think it is stupid to go to school, but later you will think and say it was a great time". Another teacher said "There has to be a limit for the relationship between teachers and students. The goal of school is to learn new things, not to meet new friends."
G. What kind of relationship did your (grand)parents have with their teachers?
School is now less severe than when my grandparents and my parents went to school. Teachers smoked cigarettes in the classroom and weren't allowed to punish students in that time, but they still did. The less worse punishments are that you have to stay in the corner with your hands on your back or you have to stay in the classroom when the other students have pause.
(they still use this punishment). Sometimes the teacher miscalled you. When you have been really bad, he punishes you with pulling your hair. And if you are a boy he will take you to the corridor and he will kick your ass. Happily, this isn’t allowed anymore.
H. Which is the other staff (other than teachers) in your school? Do you interact with them? How do you relate to them?
So, we have a pretty big school, so besides teachers we need a lot of other staff. For examples, at other school there are caretakers, a director/manager, team leaders, facility staff, someone who takes care of the school schedules, a dean, cleaners, student mentors, replacement teacher in case someone gets sick, maintenance staff and a few others. We don’t talk to the most of those staff, but sometimes meet them in school and have a little talk.

Conclusion
Draw a conclusion about the main question; Do you think relations in a school play an important role in student’s lives?
Personally, I think they do. The high school is a part of your life, you meet new people and encounter new challenges. You will meet new friends and teachers, which you will see a lot. Mostly, you keep contact between you and your friends after high school. So yes, relations with friends plays an important role. But, I think it’s different with teachers. You don’t keep contact with them after you leave high school. Of course, it would be nice if you accidentally run into your teacher after you left, but we don’t keep contact or get really attached to the relations between us and teachers.
